In order to improve on their products and also meet the diverse needs and preferences of their customers, the soda companies have manufactured several kinds of the soda drinks. They have made several types of soda, such as fit, max, zero, diet, regular, and many more. But of all these product types, the most debates ones are the regular and diet sodas. The regular and diet sodas are basically the same but differ in the types of sweetener used in the ingredients.

But in the diet soda, the sweetener ingredient is changed to an artificial sweetener, especially the aspartame. People with diabetes actually prefer the diet soda because it does not cause spike in their insulin levels. Though the regular soda is said to be healthier than the diet soda because it does not contain artificial additives like the earlier one.
