Social media is the outlet of people whenever they would like to project a perfect life. They post their best pictures, their accomplishments, and so much more so that they can show that they are living the life that they have always wanted. A lot of times, those who post too much on social media are living sad lives.

They get the approval that they have always wanted from people who like and comment on their photos. They seek validation from people because they believe that people’s validation will be enough to make them happy, but the truth is, the life that they are portraying online may be a far cry from what they are truly experiencing. This is unfortunate but true for most people who rely on social media.

Since the advent of social media, the noticeable thing about social media is that it has introduced a new way of life to a lot of people using it. Since social media is like a virtual world where you can easily cook up things that look very real in the eyes of your friends, many perceive doing that will make them more acceptable in society. One of the major reasons why people fake their lives on social media is that they believe it will increase their social status and create a particular class for them in the society so that people can start seeing them in a particular way.
