One of the biggest misconceptions is people assume that seals and sea lions are the same. Sea lions are usually color brown and they will have the ability to walk on land. They have large flippers that they use to move. They can also be very loud which ca delight those who may watch them. Seals, on the other hand, are lighter-colored.

They also have very small flippers that will allow them to swim properly. If in case they get on land, they normally use their bellies to move from one place to another. Their ear flaps cannot be seen easily too as compared to sea lions.
