A lot of people may say that fruits and vegetables usually go well together because they are considered to be “healthy.” They may have some similarities but people cannot forget about their differences. Fruits come from the food-bearing portion of the flowering plant while vegetables may come from other parts of the plant. It is common for vegetables to be the leaf of the plant or the stems.

Some of the items that are being labeled as vegetables are actually fruits. Most people assume that tomato is a vegetable but this is a fruit. Fruits are also known to have a sweeter taste as compared to vegetables but this is not always true.
