The telecaster and the Stratocaster are known to be electronics that are highly similar to each other but this does not mean that they are the same. The telecaster makes use of one tone control while the Stratocaster is known to have two-tone knobs depending on what you are looking for. Another difference is their appearance. The Stratocaster will have a larger headstock as compared to the telecaster.

The telecaster does not have any contours too which means that it will probably become easier to play because it is more comfortable to use. Still, people will have different preferences. Some would actually prefer the contours of the Stratocaster more.
