Chemistry is a physical science that study or deals with matter and their chemical reaction. Solution and suspension are both mixtures that contain two or more compounds. Solutions are homogeneous mixtures, which are transparent, and light can also pass through them. Solutions have majorly two constituents- the solute and the solvent. The solute is the substance that is to be dissolved, while the solvent is the liquid or aqueous substance that dissolves the solute. Solutions are inseparable by filtration.

On the other hand, suspensions are heterogeneous mixtures with different properties of the volume. Suspensions have big particles; they are murky and opaque such that light cannot pass through them. They can be separated by filtration, and they are classified into the dispersed phase, and the disperse medium. The dispersed phase can be solid, while the dispersing medium can be gas, liquid, or solid. Examples of suspensions are chalk powder, flour soil, etc.
