NBA is the acronym for National Basketball Association, while, FIBA is the acronym for Federation Internationale de Basket-ball. These two leagues are parts of the top leagues that govern basketball activities. NBA and FIBA set rules on how basketball game should be played by players whenever they are on the court. The major differences that exist between the NBA and FIBA are due to the fact that both the NBA and FIBA don't use the same rules. The first difference can be noticed in the different types of the court used by both leagues.

NBA is the acronym for National Basketball Association, while, FIBA is the acronym for Federation
NBA uses a court in the form of a rectangle, while FIBA uses a court that looks like a trapezoidal. Another difference is that both the NBA and FIBA do not use the same game clock, the NBA uses 48 minutes, while FIBA uses 40 minutes. Another difference is that three different referees are needed to officiate in the NBA, while FIBA uses just two referees.
