In order to have a display from the signal source like a media box or computer, something has to be used. A cable called the VGA and SVGA cable can serve this purpose for analog signals. These two cables look so identical, and the VGA cable can serve the purpose of SVGA cable in some cases. With some features of the SVGA cable, using thicker or better cables, cables with gold plated pins to enable the conduction between the female port and the male plug, It serves better than the VGA cables in some cases.

Where the VGA cable starts to deteriorate, the SVGA cable still keeps on performing well. The SVGA cable is obviously more expensive than the VGA cable. Though the costly price of the SVGA cables do not really worth it sometimes, as the VGA will still serve the same purpose well if the distance between them is not really much. But when the distance is getting much, being like 10 feet or more, then the SVGA cables are recommendable.
