Adwords is an advertising resource provided by Google, while PPC is a type of online advertising scheme. Adwords is more strict when it comes to what you can and can not advertise. Items that relate to hacking and most medical terminology are not allowed to be advertised. Adwords has the benefit of advertising in Google searches; providing them with ads that are targeted specifically to certain people.

Pay per click is commonly associated with first-tier search engines. PPC is an internet advertising campaign where advertisers remit when a consumer selects one of their ads. This form of e-marketing can be cost-efficient, as the advertiser does not have to pay until a consumer selects the link.
