Friendship day is a particular day dedicated for people to celebrate their friends and have fun with them. The celebration, although is meant for everybody, but is mostly celebrated by young ones. The idea behind the celebration is for people to come to the realization of the positive impact their friends have made on them and it also brings the opportunity for people to celebrate their friends by sending gifts to them.

True friends are very scarce, but when you are lucky to have one you should always be thankful. Friends are blessings if you can choose right, and they might turn otherwise if you choose wrong. The major significance of friendship day is for us to appreciate our friends for their sacrifices towards the friendship.
