A lot of people still think Step-siblings and Half-Siblings are the same partly because most people use the two words interchangeably. Before going into the differences, it is essential to know the true definition of the word siblings. Sibling means two or more persons who share the same parent(s). Half siblings, on the other hand, are siblings with a common mother but different fathers or siblings with the same father but different mothers. The major problem with half-siblings is when they are arranging how to distribute separate property their late parents left behind.
