Mental illness has become more critical and noticed nowadays. It is difficult to diagnose any mental illness because it must be determined through their symptoms and actions. Very few mental illnesses have tests that can be conducted by taking someone’s blood and making that conclusion. Instead, there may be a checklist to use to determine if someone has a mental illness like schizophrenia or feelings of psychosis.

There are differences between these two things. Schizophrenia is the ailment, and psychosis is the symptom of schizophrenia. However, psychosis is not the illness itself. However, the symptom of psychosis can be treated with medication, but schizophrenia really can’t. Doctors may try, but they are usually not successful with that. Doctor does not diagnose psychosis.
