Electrophoresis and chromatography are two terms that are usually used in regards to techniques used in a laboratory. We use these techniques to analyze the samples that are in the lab. One key difference between electrophoresis and chromatography is that electrophoresis is used less commercially compared to chromatography.

If you have a large amount of samples to analyze, you will most likely use chromatography. If you want to analyze the example because it is so small, you will need to use the technique of electrophoresis. Electrophoresis can analyze samples that are liquids or solids. Chromatography can analyze samples for liquids and solids, but they can also analyze samples for gases. However, chromatography is used when dealing with blood, whereas electrophoresis is used for DNA purposes.
