4G is a label smartphone. 4G LTE is the new version of it. LTE stands for Long Term Evolution. 4G means the 4th generation of mobile data technology, which refers to an entirely new set of cellular technologies that suppress the capabilities of older technologies.

4G LTE has an advantage with speed. 4G LTE is capable of obtaining a peak download that far surpasses of what the 4G is capable. It applies more generally to the idea of improving wireless broadband speeds to meet increasing demands. LTE is made by Verizon, whereas Sprint makes 4g.
