What is the difference between Acetone and Mineral Spirits?

A lot of people are familiar with the acetone because this is something that they use when they want to remove their nail polish. The acetone is usually colorless. I should not be put close to flames because it can be flammable. Mineral spirits can also be considered as a paint thinner but the main difference is this can be used for wood while acetone can make certain changes to wood.

People can use the right solvent depending on what they are trying to remove. If you only want to get rid of your nail polish, you do not need mineral spirits to make sure that they will be completely gone from your nails.
