There are some people who think that Juneteenth is something that only Black Americans are known to celebrate but when you think about it, this should be celebrated by all people because no matter whether they are black or white, they are still Americans. Anyone can become a slave. Some people may become a slave to their work that they would lose their ties with the people that they used to be close to.

Some may become slaves to love that they let their lives have no direction. Celebrating Juneteenth is meant to make people remember that no one should become slaves and it is not only limited to people’s race and preferences.
