Texting is just synonymous with SMS and MMS, which many people are actually familiar with. People send and receive messages via texting, and it is available relatively on every brand of phones. On the other hand, iMessage is referred to as an instant message, and it is a kind of text message too. IMessage is available on all Apple products as their native messaging technology. IMessage, on the other hand, is text messaging platform for Apple devices, through which messages can be sent from one Apple products user to the other. IMessage can only be supported by Apple mobile devices. Text messages do not need to be sent via internet connection or Wi-Fi, but iMessage uses internet connection before it can send messages from one end to another.
