Around the world, there are over 100 countries that take part in World Environment Day. This is a great feat, as the day has been around since 1972, and throughout the years, its impact has gone stronger for people who want to keep their Earth and environment clean.

Every year, World Environment Day has a different host country, which shows how worldwide the day is. Many of the countries that have hosted the day in the past include the United States, France, Saudi Arabia, Rwanda, Algeria, China, India, and Spain. Each of these countries and the many others that participate show that we can all work together to keep this world clean.
