It is known that cricket is a very popular game in England. Cricket actually originated in England. It seems that England would win many cricket tournaments. However, the winners in the past have never been to England. Sometimes, England is the runner-up, but they have never been the winner of the ICC Cricket World Cups. In 1975, when the ICC Cricket World Cup, the winner was the West Indies and the runner-up was Australia.
In 2015 which was the last ICC Cricket World Cup, Australia and New Zealand won the world cup and New Zealand was also the runner-up. Australia won by 7 wickets. In 2011 the winners were India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh with Sri Lanka being the runner up. India won by 6 wickets.
