Google Android canceled Huawei's license because of the increasing trade war between the US and China. It is important to note that the decision to cancel Huawei's license did not actually originate from Google itself, but it is one of the directives of President Donald Trump-led administration which forbids any company in the United States from engaging in any kind of businesses with foreign companies that have the capacity of posing great security issues to the country.

It is because of this reason that Google Android canceled Huawei's license. However, the effects of this development are not going to be huge on Huawei as existing Huawei phones will continue to get security updates from Google; they will also continue to enjoy every service from Google. But new phones from Huawei will not be enjoying these services from Google. However, new phones from Huawei will be able to use the recently launched Android 10.

Google was forced to cancel Huawei’s licenses when the United States government mentioned the smartphone company as one of the companies that US companies are banned from doing business with.

The cancellation of Huawei’s license is a big blow for the smartphone company as this will affect their market in European, African, Asian countries, and North America as well.

The US government is of the opinion that Huawei has some ties with the Chinese state, and such a tie can allow China to spy on America through backdoors that can be built into the Huawei products.

Although no evidence of such a possibility has been confirmed, the US government has banned US companies from doing business with Huawei. Therefore, Google has no choice but to obey the rule.

Google said that complying with the ban would equate future phones sold by Huawei would be without a license for it's Android operating software and would have no access to its Play app store, which would make the phones useless.

The United States blacklisting of Huawei prompts global firms to follow suit. It is because of the United States ban on American companies supplying to Huawei.

Subsequent Huawei devices will probably be lacking popular Google apps such as Gmail and Youtube. Also, Huawei would have to find publicity available versions of the Android operating software, as opposed to obtaining them directly from Google.

The United States government has alleged for years that Huawei's phones, telecom equipment, and technology are used for espionage on behalf of Beijing, China. The United States government has been trying to blacklist Huawei around the world.

United States officials believe that Huawei has close connections to the Chinese government. A few years back, congressional reports ascertained Huawei's telecom equipment, including gear essential for using 5G networks, posed a serious threat to our national security.

Since then, United States carriers such as AT&T and Verizon haven't offered Huawei's mobile phones for sale. Other companies have also followed suit. The argument was brought to a head when the Trump administration banned the United States from providing components or services to Huawei.

Following the United States quelling on Chinese technology corporations, Google has brought to an end Huawei’s robot license, dealing an enormous blow to the enclosed phone maker. Reuters first reportable the news, and The Verge subsequently confirmed Google’s suspension of business with Huawei with a supply at home with the matter.

Reached for comment, a Google proponent the same solely “We area unit obliging with the order and reviewing the implications.” The order, during this case, seems to be the United States Commerce Department’s recent call to position Huawei on the “Entity List,” which as reuters reports could be a list of corporations that area unit unable to shop for technology from United States corporations while not government approval.

This is because of the blacklisting of the US of the Chinese brand and its phones because of some trade war. This has banned Google from selling its license to Huawei. During this time, Huawei was talking about trying to create its own platform and its own system, but over the past months, the US and China have started doing some trade talks again.

Google has been allowed to provide a license to Huawei so that the Huawei phones will keep on being Android-powered in the next years or so. This is good news for people who love the features of Huawei but are not quite ready to use a platform that is completely different from Android.
