Homeostasis refers to the maintenance of a constant internal environment of the body. The importance of the internal environment was discovered by a great biologist of the 19 century Claude Bernard.

The components of homeostasis include Sensors or detectors, which recognize the deviation, transmission of this message to a control center, and transmission of information. The control center to the effectors for correcting the deviation. All the mechanisms that happen in the body are maintained in their normal range by homeostasis.

Responsiveness can be defined as the quality of reacting to something or someone, especially or positive reaction. When it comes to the body, responsiveness can be related to the adaptation to the environment. it refers to how the body responds to its internal or external environment.

When you say homeostasis, this is the state of the body wherein the living systems will be in charge of making sure that everything will be steady. This is the condition wherein the internal, physical, and chemical conditions will be working properly. Take note that there are different variables that will be affected by this.

For example, body temperature will make sure that this will allow the person to reach this state as well as body fluids. When you say responsiveness, you are referring to how much the body will respond to the different conditions that you would expose it to. There are also some things that may affect how responsive the body may be.
