Why is power sharing desirable?

Power sharing is desirable among societies because of so many things. Power sharing can be regarded as a system of government which ensures a dimension of power is given to different societies in order to ensure stability. Power sharing is needed in the society to ensure peace and reduce the chances of social conflict in the society. When power is shared in society, each group in the society will know its rights and the extent to which they can enjoy the rights.

Power sharing will also ensure that the will and the needs of the minority groups in society are allowed to stand and not that certain majority groups in society will be dictating to the rest of society. Power sharing is a powerful instrument in ensuring political stability in a country because there would be equal participation of every citizen towards achieving a great nation.
