The correct answer to this question is A^2 + b^2= c^2. This theorem is one of the earliest theorems every developed. The name of the theorem is developed after Pythagoras, who was a mathematician and a philosopher.

He is known for developing the Pythagorean School of Mathematics in Cortona. He has also received credit for many theorems, but The Pythagorean Theorem is his most famous.

Although he received credit for it, mathematicians feel Babylonians knew about it before it had an official name. This theorem is important to math, and it is important for students to study it. It can be studied through technology and proof.

A^2+b^2=c^2

Try it! If we have 3 cm in side a, and 4 in side b, side c should be 5 cm!
