Germany is a democratic country. It is based in republic values though so it all works together. Like, the President is voted on and elected but he also is above the political party. There are areas where there are basically sub-presidents althoughs some areas actually have governers.

Germany is a democratic country. It is based in republic values though so it all works together.
The country is democratic in nature though and in some ways, resembles the structure of the United States. In other areas, however, it is much different.
