Coaxial cables are no longer used because it is more expensive. Twisted cable is much more economical. Also, everything has gone wireless. A2A is a twisted pair wiring that is used now when wiring is used because it cost a whole lot less and it is a lot easier to install and work with too.

It's easier to maintain as well. When twisted is used, there aren't near as many problems that when coax used to be used. There is more data rate in coax and there are times it's used but not much anymore.

What may be active at one time will be likely replaced in the future as technology advances. Coaxial cable is a type of copper cable with a metal shield and other components engineered to block signal interference. The cable TV companies connect their satellite antennae with it to service homes and businesses. Coaxial cables are expensive, fat, and stiff.

This makes it capable of multiple bands of communication, which isn't necessary for handling network traffic. Hence, it's a better option to use a solid cable with a single piece of copper for the electrical conductor.
