Kodak Black is a great rapper - if you like rap. It's difficult to make it in rap these days because the competition is fierce but his hit singles have put him on the charts and he has a huge fan following. Many love his personal story of rising above the situation as well.
Some don't like his rapping though but mostly that's because they just don't care for rap. Most who like rap find him very talented. Even as a child he studied words to expand his voccabulary- very commendable because many rappers just say the same ole nonesense. Kodak is very imaginative with his songs and he wites them as well.
I think Kodak Black is a good rapper, but there is only so far you can go with a talent. You have to learn more, extend it and nurture it. You can't do that well when you're high on drugs and contemplating anti-social acts. is best singles are ‘Roll in Peace,’ ‘Tunnel Vision,’ and ‘No Flockin.’ He has done well so far and some have felt he has great potential. His hit numbers use themes like redemption, mental health, growing up in a single-parent house and insecurities .
This is unusual for any other rapper his age. If only he could stay the right side of the law and adopt a safer healthier lifestyle, he could go far but jail is getting in the way all the time, and if you break the law, this is what you will get. A shame, but who is going to mentor him for that is what he needs.
