Dubai is the top third city in the world with the most skyscrapers. In total, they have 148 skyscrapers in total. They account for the tallest building in the world, which is the Burj Khalifa. It is 828.18 meters high. They built this many skyscrapers in a short amount of time.

One of the reasons for this is the discovery of oil in the region. This finding has allowed Dubai to trade the oil with other countries, bringing more money back to the region to build it up. Along with that, Dubai saw the impact of tourism and built buildings to help bring more people to the region.

Dubai has a ton of skyscrapers. They have evolved like no other country in their skyline it seems. One reason how they did it was because of the discovery of oil. Then, there was a lot of commerce and tourism, which funded the transformation.

They indeed have always been right in the area of the trade too. They had the desire to do it, and then, they had the funds in which to complete their desire, so that's the real reason behind their skyline and skyscrapers.
