Sociology is a branch of social sciences; it is defined as the study of society, human social interaction, and the rules that bind and separate people in everyday life not only as individuals but also as members of groups or associations. The term “sociology” was coined by the French Philosopher Auguste Comte Sociology is further divided into other sub-sections. All human activities fall into a certain section of sociology.

Sociology involves analyzing and investigating social interactions and processes in groups and organizations to develop. It also uses qualitative and quantitative methods to study interactions between humans. Herbert Spencer, Marx Weber, Karl Marx, and Emile Durkheim are some sociologist that made great theories and contributions to sociology.
