The CIA is indeed responsible for instigating lobbying in other countries. In fact, they can be very sneaky about it in the way the go about it. They had more to do with the lobbying in Venezuela than they want to admit to and in many other countries to.

They had to do with the violent street protests and it was known that they were helping to temporarily overthrow because they have investments and interests there. It is not right because of the greed. There is a lot of power and a lot of politics behind it all and it is kep quiet, much like the mafia used to do. But there is not a whole lot that can be done about it. Big government has always ultimately ruled and probably always will, be it undercurrent or above board.
