O
I
U

The probably thinking of you is why y?. Y is considered as a consonant and a vowel why? Read this set of words: Set A:Young,Yellow, Yen, Yarn Set B: Country Dye Cry Gym Set A has Letter Y in a sound of /y/. Set B has a letter Y sounded like long e, short e, long i, or short i. You figuire out yet. The Set A has Y in consonant form. The set B has Y in vowel form.
