Is water pollution a major problem in our society?

Water pollution is a mammoth problem in our society. At the rate we are going in our civilization, there will be no clean water for anyone in the years to come which would be the death of mankind. The sad thing is that we will have done it to ourselves if that happens.

We are hooked on things like plastic which is one of the worst sources of water pollution. We know that but still keep using it. We buy water in it which is ironic because it is ultimately polluting our water. Some are not aware of the facts so it is time to educate all so people can take action rather than sitting around being ignorant while sipping on their plastic bottles of water and using plastic utensils and doing all sorts of other daily activities with plastic. Water pollution is a huge problem today and simply must be stopped.
