The ozone layer is something that is practically disappearing before our eyes. When chemical waste gets to the sphere, it dwindles. The ozone layer keeps the earth from getitng too hot or too cold. It is like a layer of protection around us. When it is gone, there is not telling what will happen to the earth but it won't be good.

So all of the air pollution is gradually decreasing the ozone layer, bit by bit. It just easts away at it until there is nothing left to protect us. In 1998 there were some measures taken to eliminate some of the things that are causing the ozone layer to diminish but still, there are more people now and more pollution so new measures need to be put into place before it is simply too late.

Many people don't understand how it happens or don't believe that it is true so they do nothing about it. Aweness is very important and is perhaps the biggest problem that is preventing something from really being done to stop the problem.
