Everyday, many die as a result of air pollution, directly or indirectly but rooted in it all the same. In fact, 4.6 per year are lost to air pollution. The numbers are staggering and many don't realize the magitude of the problem. Some who are affected by it don't even know that air polluition is the source of their sickness.

More people die from air pollution than they do from smoking which is truly sad because smokers chose to smoke and those who are ill or dead due to air pollution did nothing wrong. All they did was breathe. More could and should be done about air pollution but until the problem is more widespread or until people demand for something to be done, it will likely remain the same, unfortunately. But, you and I can change that.
