In Austria, Christianity is the dominant and most popular religion of the people who follow a religion. When broken down, Catholicism is probably the most popular with over half of the people in Austria practicing this denomination. The other most popular denominations under the category of Christianity would be Eastern Orthodoxy and Protestantism. However, if added these two denominations together, they only equal to a little over ten percent of the Austria population.
