Argentina gets a nice splatter of cold and hot climates. Their land mass is vast and the mountainous areas also will get colder temperatures as you go up the higher elevation. These factors make for a varied climate in Argentina. Their cold climate is generally mild and brief.

Temperatures fluctuate from 16 °C (61 °F) in the northern areas to 14 °C (57 °F) in the southernmost areas. The high temperatures can go up as high as 49°C (120°F) in summer, and during cold waves can fall to -6°C (21 °F). The summers seem to be quite hot in the warmer areas and the heat can get intense. So, the cold climate is not too bad, but the hottest times can be intense.
