Many books which are in the public domain and for which the copyright has expired are available at sources such as Project Gutenberg. Because of this, old classics like Huckleberry Fin or Arabian Nights, or The Great Gatsby, are readily available at online sources. Free books can also be found at places such as the Google eBookstore, Open Library, and places such as Manybooks dot net. If one is looking for classic texts and manuscripts, the Perseus Digital Library has an extensive digital archive of works by ancient Greek, Roman, Arabian, and Western authors including Euclid, Pliny the Elder, and Herodotus. These books can be read both in their original languages as well as in English. Additionally, there are also old books or works that are randomly available as PDFs on the internet database.
