Personally, I think it all depends upon the age of the woman and the look she is trying to cultivate, and there are also several different kinds of ear piercings. For example, there is double piercing and triple piercing. A helix ear piercing is a type of piercing made at the top cartilage of the ear. There are many kinds of helix piercings, although standard helix piercing is done in the exterior upper cartilage.
There is also the traditional piercing of a single hole in each ear. I think it looks perfect when younger women have their hair up, and they wear big dangly earrings. It is a definite sign of someone who is trendy, but also fun and easy-going. Hoop earrings are also quite striking on the right person; however, older women tend to look more dignified with a simple clip-on earring.
