More than 15g sugars per 100g

There are two types of sugar - those found naturally in fruit and milk (fructose and lactose, which are fine and dont need to be cut down) and those that are added to the diet. Sugary foods and drinks pose a threat to dental health, especially if consumed between meals. Even the sugars in honey and fruit juices can cause tooth decay if good oral hygiene isnt followed and you consume a lot of these foods. Did you know? A high sugar content is more than 15g sugars per 100g, and a low content is 5g sugars per 100g A can of cola provides 35 grams (around 10 teaspoons) of sugar, approximately 140 calories.
