Any app that takes off is worth a lot of money. This is because so many people are beginning to use the app and then advertisers or sponsors realize the value in the app. They want all of those millions of users to see their products that they advertise. The company Tencent is responsible for creating the WeChat and they are probably raking in the money as a result. It did probably take a lot of time to create this app and make sure it works.

However, now they are rolling in the dough with the amount that WeChat is worth. Since WeChat has over one hundred million followers, its value has increased over the years since it began in 2011. Now, its market value is at over eighty-three billion dollars.
