Are women in Egypt oppressed?

In many countries in the past, women have been oppressed. This means that they were forced to endure harsh punishments if they didn’t follow certain laws that were only meant for them. They were allowed to drive cars or hold jobs.

Their husbands were allowed to beat them. However, now times have changed. The women in Egypt are no longer oppressed. Egypt has become a country that has made women and men equal. Women can and do hold jobs as well as drive cars.

They can get driver’s licenses and do the same things that men can do. They have come a long way since the oppression times. It seems that they will be given more and more rights as the time comes.
