These two are known to be potential hypothetical particles. A dineutron is known to be a cluster of two neutrons that are stable, and tetraneutrons are clusters of four neutrons. There was a time when people were not aware of the existence of tetraneutrons until it was discovered by Francisco Miguel Marques and his team.

This is considered to be somewhat controversial because there are some reports that those clusters are not supposed to be stable. In the year 2016, this was reported again by another person, but there are still some studies that are ongoing that will hopefully prove the existence of the tetraneutron. The dineutron was supposedly discovered back in the year 2012, but once again, there are not enough studies that will prove that this is true.

Composed of two unbound neutrons, dineutrons are ten times bigger and unstable in their form. There seems to be an evidence for a tetraneutron, which is a system with four neutrons existing in a resonant state.

Such tetraneutrons are hypothetical and seemingly stable in their cluster of four neutrons. Such a cluster as the tetraneutron, could be produced by a bound state of two dineutron patterns. Being a hypothetical substance, neutronium is composed completely of neutrons.

There are a lot of people who are not aware that there are dineutrons and tetraneutrons. For those who are not aware, the tetraneutron is a hypothetical cluster that is made out of four neutrons. The dineutron, on the other hand, is composed of two neutrons. There are still some studies that are trying to prove if these two types of neutron actually exist.

Like mentioned earlier, it is still hypothetical at this point. There have been different attempts in order to see this observation but these attempts have failed so far. The observation came from the experiment done by Francisco-Miguel Marqués in the year 2001. He was assisted by his co-workers.
