Fermion is a term that is normally used in particle physics. There are different particles that can be considered as fermions, such as quarks, leptons, and other composite particles. You will know that you are looking at a fermion if this comes with a half odd integer or a spin.

The reason why the fermion usually has a half spin is because of the spin−statistics theorem. Basically, this is the type of theorem which means that the different particles may spin not because of the orbital motions but because of the particle statistics that it follows. There are still not enough details that are available about this theory.

A fermion is a particle that is subatomic similar to a nucleon. It has a half-integral spin and follows a statistical description. As a particle, it is not a full atom and does not have the full value of an atom.

This is an issue of particle physics, in which fermion is a particle that follows the statistics of Fermi-Dirac. Such particles adhere to the Pauli exclusion principle. Such fermions incorporate all quarks and leptons, along with all the composite particles that are made of an odd number of such as these. Thus fermions are subatomic particles.

A fermion is known to be a particle that is usually studied in particle physics. If you have not studied particle physics in the past, then you may not have encountered this yet. This is a type of particle that can be elementary or composite. This means that it can either be an electron or a proton.

The different spins may sometimes show if the particle is a fermion or a baryon. A fermion will usually have a half-integer spin while a baryon will have full integer spin. Take note that fermions may sometimes have mass but there are also instances when they can be massless. There are usually different factors that can determine if a particle is a fermion or not based on the atom that is being tested and checked.
