How can I make my daughter more confident?

Here are some tips on how to help your daughter build more confidence.
Stop controlling and start coaching: This will help your daughter develop skills, your job as a parent is to support and develop your daughter so she can develop herself. Don’t do everything for her; it robs her of the opportunity to become competent. Do things with her, this will help build her confidence.

Focus on effort not result: give positive feedback about her growth in specific things. This will encourage her to do better. Your goal is for her to keep trying, improving, and practicing, for her to learn that when she works hard, she can accomplish her goals.

Show her love, help her set realistic goals, model love and positive self-talk, support her pursuit of passion, teach resilience, make your praises match reality, don’t draw comparison between her and other siblings and let her know no one is perfect.
