The word gastro refers to the word “stomach.” This explains why there are some stomach conditions that are sometimes related to the stomach that has the word “gastro.” The stomach is known to be one of the main organs of the body. It is well known for producing different substances that will make sure that food is digested properly.

The gastric juice is a mixture of different items that will ensure that the food we eat is broken down properly. There are some nutrients that will be absorbed by the body and the things that the body does not need will be removed through waste. Without the stomach, there will be no area to store the food so that all the nutrients can be extracted properly.
