Hair loss is more common in men than in women, but it is very common for women to experience hair loss to some extent as well. For women, hair thinning is pretty normal but if a woman is experiencing baldness it can be because of a hormonal imbalance.

Sometimes when their hormones are balanced again the hair will regrow, but not always. Genetics are the main factor in determining if and when you will begin losing hair. If you are a male and your father and grandfather both had hair loss, chances are that you will too.
