New Year is celebrated everywhere around the world; America is no different. New Year day is celebrated on the first day of January, with so much singing, dancing and fun in the air.

New Year day is one of the public holiday on the year calendar were student, parents, friends and family meet to have fun. It’s a no work day.

New Year are usually celebrated in grand style. Some people prefer to club, some like starting the New Year in their place of worship, some people go for concert, museums or parks and some people just attend exhibition.

Some families’ travels to visit their loved ones and spend the special day with them, some parent just want to spend that special moment with their children.

New Year is celebrated in America on the 1st of January, like every other country. It is the first day in the modern Gregorian calendar.

New Year's day is a federal holiday for schools, business, and some government workers are relief of some work and are allowed to have fun, visit friends and be merry.

Before the New Year, the countdown ritual is usually practiced in worship places, parties, streets, airports, and every other place people might be.

During the celebration, people throw or watch fireworks, travel, organize festivals, party, eat, drink and visit fun places such as a museum, parks, and fun places with their family and friends. New Year can be celebrated in different forms by different people.

In America, New Year is celebrated on the 1st of January. America follows the Gregorian calendar. It is recognized as a federal holiday, it is a day off for the general population. Government offices, schools and most businesses in America are closed on the New Year.

The start of the New Year, the midnight of the New Year is announced by fireworks and parties. Many people take out time to rest from the New Year’s Eve celebration. Others use the opportunity to plan their New Year and set New Year resolutions.
