True

This is true - as stipulated by CJA 2003 Schedule 12 Paragraph 8 (1b). This means that a further offence would be likely to result in activation of the prison term. If an offender on a community order is convicted of a new offence, the court may leave the existing order in place and sentence just for the new offence, but if another community order is envisaged, the court may chose to revoke the existing order and create a new order to cover both new and old offences so as to avoid a potentially confusing or conflicting set of requirements.*##**##*
