So much is due to the individual, his or her age, her current state of health, even his/her attitude. It is often found that patients with a positive outlook have a better survival rate. Clearly, the skill of the cardiologist is important and the support from his team and the hospital, with suitable after-care.

Radiation and chemotherapy, the usual treatments, have their side effects and risks too, but there will not be spontaneous recovery from no treatment.
