I do not know the answer but suspect that if a mini heart attack occurs in combination with other health problems such as blocked veins, then death is possible.
However, if a doctor has attended a person with a mini heart attack and given medical advice, I would think death is unlikely if his advice is followed, otherwise he would not have left a person alone to worry but would have sought a hospital admission.
