Mocktails and cocktails are the same drinks except for one important thing. That important thing is the alcohol. Cocktails are drinks that contain ingredients and the main ingredient is the alcohols. Mocktails contain the same ingredients as the cocktail it is copying but it doesn’t have the alcohol in it. Therefore, mocktails and cocktails are not the exact same drinks.

They are different. People who are under twenty-one years old can order and drink mocktails. They can’t or are not supposed to drink cocktails. Adults who are over twenty-one years old can drink cocktails and mocktails. Adults may drink a mocktail because they want to look like they are drinking a cocktail but they can’t have alcohol for one reason or another.
